The new factory on dissolved gas salvaging was put into operation

On December 23^rd of the past year the new KazFrac (LLP «Kazgereco» (KAZGEREKO) affiliated company) factory commissioning solemn ceremony took place. The factory was built to salvage and waste-handle Kenlyk passing petroleum gas. Branch division heads, local self-regulating body delegations headed by Bolatbek Bayanovich Kuandykov, Akim of Kyzylordinskaya Oblast, representatives of Munay Kurylys Service general contractor, public organisations, other honoured guests, and journalists attended the ceremony, in addition to company management and employees.

The project estimated cost was Tenge 4,7 bln. The factory’s capacity enabled passing petroleum gas processing of 100 million m3 per year. Thus, successful manufacturing of two kinds of high-quality production was provided: 40 thousand tons of technical liquefied propane-butane (GOST 20448-90) and 8 thousand tons gas stable benzene (TC 39-1340-89) during OG (oil gas) salvaging based on deep waste-handling technology. The relevant role was played by an ecological component: harmful atmosphere emissions of oil light fractions were almost liquidated due to new factory system input. Gas burning option was excluded; soil pollution due to oil spills was minimised; fire safety observance was guaranteed.

The enterprise’s industrial infrastructure includes electric mains, gas line, gasoline and condensed gas retention reservoirs.

The factory uses high-technology equipment of Red Mountain Energy Corp., the known American company and equipments of Russian, Chinese, Saudi Arabian leading producers.
